EXPERT TIPS

English Premier League
Everton vs Blackburn
EXPERT TIP

Blackburn have not lost in 3, even though they have drawn them all. They will take that record to Goodison Park to play an Everton side that have been very decent in terms of form. The Toffees have gone 6 unbeaten in the league, winning 4 and drawing 2. At home, they have not lost in their last 8 in the League. They have not drawn back-to-back home games this season in the Premiership so with them drawing their last one 2-2 with Aston Villa, perhaps it is time for them to notch a win. Blackburn will not be easy customers, but with the way the Merseysiders have been playing, it is definitely not impossible. Everton manager Moyes has got a few injuries to deal with. Mikel Arteta, Jose Baxter, Marouane Fellaini and Louis Saha are all out, whereas Tim Cahill, Seamus Coleman and Jack Rodwell are all tough-and-go. Jermaine Beckford will therefore be looking to stake his claim once more and truth be told, the former Leeds forward has not done too badly, netting a few and looking relatively sharp. For Blackburn boss Steve Kean, he is missing Keith Andrews, Vince Grella and Ryan Nelsen. Junior Hoilett is a doubt with a hamstring complaint but Steve N'Zonzi is definitely out with a suspension. Roque Santa Cruz returns and back at his old club, he will look to impress. This is perhaps one of the more straightforward games to call this weekend. You cannot not back Everton on this form, and that is where we will be heading. Blackburn may have done okay with 3 straight draws, but the fact of the matter is... they have not won. Everton have come good following a sluggish start to the season as well as an uninspired mid-season. However, Moyes has managed to string some very good results in recent months and the Merseysiders will now look to close out the season on a high. Leon Osman, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov and Jermain Beckford should all be instrumental once more and Everton peg Blackburn back from the get-go. Home!
